Edwaert Collier - Still Life - Master Study

Recently did a mastery study of one of Edwaert Collier's Vanitas still lives. I've always been fond of the elegance in the memento mori metaphors that these objects revolve around. It's a beautiful collection of objects, but the artist also imaged beautiful concepts about the brevity of life.
