A Wall of Distance

An Art Deco study I've been working on with the intent to publish as a Marmoset viewer.
The environment sets up the story of a troubled father who can no longer be with his wife. He can't look at himself or her picture anymore. He removes his wedding ring leaving it next to her portrait. He throws himself into his work, letting it become his void. A distance grows between what's left of the family, and his child attempts to get as close as they can, emulating their father. Stealing cigarettes, collecting up toys and working in their own space as close as they can get to dad.
